I hold an Advanced Diploma in Clinical Supervision, which qualified me to work in person, online and telephone. My supervision practice is informed by Hawkins & Shohet's Seven Eyed Model of Supervision, a holistic model which considers the whole of the therapeutic process. I have also trained in Creative Supervision Skills and incorporate the CRAFTS model of supervision within my approach.
Clinical supervision helps ensure ethical practice and the safety of clients by providing a structured opportunity to reflect on practice, approach, and interventions. It allows space to explore our own process, experiences, and emotions, maintaining our own wellbeing and self-care, to allow us to be more effective therapists. Supervision supports us to deepen our skills and awareness and encourages personal development.
I work in a relational and collaborative manner to support and encourage you, but also gently challenge where necessary. As an integrative, trauma informed therapist, I draw from a number of different models and modalities where appropriate. I provide supervision in person and remotely, via telephone and zoom.
I offer a 30 minute initial consultation for all potential supervises which allows us a chance to get to know each other a little and discuss ways of working to see if we feel we would work well together.
