I understand that taking the first step to look for a counsellor can be daunting, particularly if it's not something you have done before. I hope to make this process a little easier.

I offer a free, initial  consultation via telephone, which usually lasts around fifteen to thirty minutes.   This gives us an opportunity to see whether we can see ourselves working well together., and also to consider whether you feel counselling might be able to help you. You will have an opportunity to tell me more about what brings you to counselling, share any expectations or goals you may have for your sessions, and ask any questions you may have about me and how I work, so you can get a sense of whether I am the right counsellor for you. There is absolutely no obligation for you to continue your counselling journey with me, and if for any reason we feel we are not a good match, I will do my best to signpost you appropriately. .
