As the government relax covid restrictions, legal requirements are now replaced with guidance to help people make their own informed judgement on how to keep themselves and others safe. As measures are eased, the safety of clients remains my priority.
An online Covid-19 risk assessment will be emailed to you with your booking confirmation. This is to be completed prior to your session. Please do not attend your appointment if you, or anyone you live with, are displaying any symptoms associated with Covid-19.
It is no longer mandatory for clients to wear face coverings in public spaces, however the Department of Health recommend continuing to wear face coverings in order to further reduce the risk of possible infection..
On arrival, you can register your visit by checking in at reception. Although is is no longer a requirement, the NHS Test & Trace QR code will continue to be displayed.
Hand sanitiser is provided for you to wash your hands, both on arrival and departure. Please observe social distancing guidelines wherever possible while in the waiting area and moving around the building. . It is requested that you avoid bringing large bags or coats if at all possible.

A minimum of fifteen minutes between clients will continue to be observed to minimises any cross over contact in the waiting area, and to allow for the room to be be ventilated.. I have been fully -vaccinated, test regularly, using lateral flow tests, and will continue to wear a facial covering during your visit whilst infection rates remain high in the local community. All non-essential soft furnishings and refreshments have been removed, so you may like to bring your own water bottle.
Safety is of paramount importance and I reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if necessary in the interest of health and safety. In the event of a cancellation due to covid related issues, the usual cancellation policy will not apply. Clients who are not comfortable accessing counselling in person, for any reason, may wish to consider remote counselling.
