As the government relax covid restrictions, legal requirements are now replaced with guidance to help people make their own informed judgement on how to keep themselves and others safe. As measures are eased, the safety of clients remains my priority.
Please do not attend your appointment if you, or anyone you live with, are displaying any symptoms associated with Covid-19.
The Department of Health recommend wearing face coverings to further reduce the risk of infection. Novus Business Centre requests visitors wear masks when moving around the building, unless exempt.
On arrival, you can register your visit by checking in at reception. Although is is no longer a requirement, the NHS Test & Trace QR code will continue to be displayed on the door of the counselling room.
Hand sanitiser is provided for you to wash your hands, both on arrival and departure. Please observe social distancing guidelines wherever possible while in the waiting area and moving around the building.
Windows will be open in the counselling room, to ensure adequate ventilation, so clients may like to dress warmly or bring extra layers to ensure they are comfortable during session
Claire McPhail Counselling adheres to government guidelines and BACP recommendations.
A minimum of fifteen minutes between clients is observed to minimises any cross over contact in the waiting area, and to allow for the room to be be ventilated.. I have been fully vaccinated, test regularly, using lateral flow tests, and continue to wear a facial covering during your visit whilst infection rates remain high in the local community. .
Safety is of paramount importance and I reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if necessary in the interest of health and safety. In the event of a cancellation due to covid related issues, the usual cancellation policy will not apply. Clients who are not comfortable accessing counselling in person, for any reason, may wish to consider remote counselling.
